Aisha Jamila Hinds was born in America, and is well-known for her part on The Shield. Since her debut in 2003, she has demonstrated her ability as an actress by giving amazing performances on TV shows such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7, and Under the Dome. The role she played as a character in Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the first to attract her interest. The performance she made in the biographical film All the Way as the women's right activist Fannie Lou Hammer brought her to the attention of the public. Hind received praise for portraying Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historic drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the show for the third season. Hind is currently filming the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters. It will be released mid-2019. The father Krishnaraj is a senior Army scientist and died in March of 2017. Her mother Vrinda was a domestic worker. Aditya is her elder brother who is also an engineer for merchant ships. The brother of Bachchan co-produced and wrote the script for Dil Ka Rishta with their mother. Arya Vidya Mandir was the school that Bachchan went to when her family relocated to Mumbai. Jai Hind College was her last intermediate institution prior to her joining D.G. Ruparel College Matunga is where she was awarded a score of 90 % in H.S.C. exams. Her adolescence was spent studying ballet and music for 5 years. Zoology was one of her subjects. Bachchan was a student of architecture when she took home the title Miss World 1994. The title helped her get into the world of modeling. Her lucrative roles with PepsiCo Inc. & Vogue magazine as well as the spokesmodel contract in partnership with L'Oreal Paris were all rewarded in 2003. Bachchan had a popular acting career with her roles in Iruvar (1997 as well as Aur Pyaar ho Gaya (1997). The two films challenged the traditional model that defined Bollywood films at the time which pushed Bachchan to prominence in the New Bollywood. Bachchan became the new queen of Bollywood after her portrayal as the title character in Devdas 2002, one of the most famous Bollywood film. The film was also the first Bollywood film to be screened at the Cannes Film Festival. Chokher Bali (2003) was the next film that she won praise. It is a thriller that is based on Rabindranath Tagore's novel. That same year she was the sole Indian actress in the Cannes Film Festival jury. Bachchan played featured in Gurinder Chedha's Bride and Prejudice. This ballet and musical adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice is directed by Gurinder. Bachchan's beauty and stardom were then brought together for her debut English film in the language. In 2006, she returned to Bollywood with the hit film Dhoom: 2 before releasing Provoked: The True Story (2006). In April 2007 she married Abhishek Bachchan who is a frequent co-star, and child of Bollywood legendary Amitabh Bachchan in a marriage that brought together two of the most powerful Indian actors.
